"Aura Vedic- Ritual skin lightening mask" is recommended to be used on cleansed face and to be kept on for 15-20 minutes before gently washing off with water.

Pros

Aura Vedic claims its products to be free of Parabens, SLS, Harmful Chemicals and colours.

The Mask is full of natural ingredients that are known to be good for the skin. Over time this mask does help with acne marks and makes the skin glowing. My niece even claims that this mask has lightened her freckles! I will update this post if she sees more improvement.

This mask has minute granules which act as a gentle scrub.

We all know the benefits of natural ingredients such as Neem, Tulsi and Turmeric, but are often too lazy to arrange these ingredients to prepare a mask ourselves. This mask is a convenient alternative for lazy bums. :)

Cons

The mask comes in a tub packaging. Though tub is not considered to be the most hygienic form of packaging, it seems apt for this product as the mask is quite thick. I spread it on my face with the help of a few drops of water or rose water.

With Turmeric as one of the main ingredients, this mask does leave a slight yellow tinge on the face. Though the tinge comes off easily with a toner. I generally use this mask at night, and the yellow tinge disappears till the morning.

Aura Vedic products are not available in all the cities. They can be bought at the Mumbai International Airport Duty Free section through DFS and at the Bangalore International Airport through Nuances. They can also be purchased online from a variety of reputable sites. I have recently seen an Aura Vedic counter at "Inorbit mall, Malad" and I am sure more such counters would be there in other malls.

My Rating: 4/5

Auravedic's "Ritual Skin Lightening Mask" is suitable for all skin types, and is great for oily skin. You will love to pamper your skin with the all natural ingredients of this mask.

Paisa Vasool: Yes
