5 Awesome Feel-Good Movies

When you've had a bad day, you're taking one down,you sing a sad song just to turn it around, here is my list of feel good movies that will make you feel warm, fuzzy and everything in between. And don't worry, no spoilers ahead.

 

1. Jab We Met

A depressed wealthy businessman finds his life changing after he meets a spunky and care-free young woman. 

It doesn't matter how many times I watch this movie, it is still as funny, it is still as touching and it is still my most favorite romantic comedy about how life comes full circle. Now if only Shahid and Kareena wouldn't have broken up. *sigh*

 

 

2. Priceless

 
Through a set of wacky circumstances, a young gold digger mistakenly woos a mild-mannered bartender thinking he's a wealthy suitor. 

Watch this french film to gape at the perfection that is Audrey Taotou, for it's subtle humor and tender romance and for the picturesque exotic locations that it has been shot in.

3. UP

By tying thousands of balloons to his home, 78-year-old Carl sets out to fulfill his lifelong dream to see the wilds of South America. Russell, a wilderness explorer 70 years younger, inadvertently becomes a stowaway. 

Sounds like a kids' movie right? Well you have a surprise in store for you. Somehow I had not heard anything about 'UP' till the time I watched it on Star Movies, so nothing could have prepared me for the extremely-moving ,heartfelt, hilarious adventure of Carl, Russell and the talking dog Dug. I dare you to watch this clip from the movie without bawling crying/getting teary. And if you do mange to do that, well good luck living your life without a heart.

 

4. Silver Linings Playbook

After a stint in a mental institution, former teacher Pat Solitano moves back in with his parents and tries to reconcile with his ex-wife. Things get more challenging when Pat meets Tiffany, a mysterious girl with problems of her own. 

Experience the awesomeness of JLaw in her Oscar winning performance. This is a movie based on bi-polar disorder and depression but if you can't relate to the characters that Jennifer and Bradley are playing, you're lying to yourself.

5.We're The Millers

A veteran pot dealer creates a fake family as part of his plan to move a huge shipment of weed into the U.S. from Mexico.  

Literally ROFL kind of funny. If you are the kind of highbrow person who doesn't like crude comedies, don't bother with this. And to the rest of the awesome people, do not miss this one, it still might be playing at a theater near you.
