I have a love-hate relationship with my hair. Or should I say my hair has a love-hate relationship with me. I was really happy with the quality and texture of my hair last year, but this year somewhere around April my hair just decided to start acting like a rebel. When nothing seemed to work, and what I am going to say does not make much sense, I gave up on even oiling my hair which I used to do on a regular basis with Extra Virgin Olive Oil. I guess I can say that I gave up on my hair.
I am attempting to start a new, healthier relationship with
my hair. This time I added the Dabur Amla Hair Oil to my hair care regime,
which I have been using since about 6 weeks now. Using Dabur Amla Hair Oil instantly
transported me back to my school days, when I used to oil my hair every Sunday
with it. The Dabur Amla Hair Oil now comes with a flip-top cap (Thank you for
this!) which makes it easier to control the flow of oil compared to the
previous removable cap.
The benefits of Amla (Indian Gooseberry) are well known in
India and the company claims that Dabur Amla Hair oil enriches
your hair, making
them strong from inside and beautiful outside to keep you looking absolutely
gorgeous all
day long. The oil is dark green in color, and has a strong smell. Usually
strong smells give me a headache but thankfully this one does not. I use this
oil every second time I shampoo my hair and leave it overnight if possible and the
days I use this oil before shampooing, I do find my hair to be softer. Dabur
Amla hair Oil costs INR 42 for 90ml, which is very economic, and I will recommend
everyone to give it a try. Oh, and Dabur Amla Hair Oil has also got Sonakshi
Sinha on board along with Priyanka Chopra as the face of the product.
The most important key to beautiful hair and skin I believe is
a healthy diet, and I will have to admit that I fall short in this department. The
road to beautiful thick and lustrous hair may be long, but I believe that
regularly oiling my hair, head massages and a healthy diet is going to get me
there soon!
