Ain’t
nobody got time for elaborate hair rituals while travelling! Here are four of
my favourite go-to hairdos that help me look put together and take only two
minutes to create.
Poofed
Up Half Updo
I start
by using BBLUNT
Climate Control Anti-Frizz Leave-In Cream on damp hair. This is
one of my favourite leave in treatments for hair; it makes my hair manageable by
keeping frizz away and protects it from environmental and heat styling damage.
Take 1-2 pumps of the product depending on your hair length and apply it throughout the body of your hair, away from the roots and concentrating mainly on the middle and the ends.
Now
gather the hair from your crown area and start back combing it to create
volume.
If you want the poof to stay put all day you can even use a little hairspray, like
BBLUNT Spotlight Hair Polish, to the section that you are back combing.
Now
with the help of a few bobby pins, put your hair in place and create a poof.
Voila,
you are done! And again, you can use hairspray to secure the hairstyle in
place.
High
Ponytail
A high
ponytail is a quick fix for days when you don’t have time to shampoo your hair.
I start by using BBLUNT Back To Life Dry Shampoo For Instant Shine if my
hair is unwashed. This dry shampoo does a great job of absorbing excess grease
and adding freshness and texture to your hair.
Now
pull all your hair up. I prefer not to use a comb and use only my fingers to
smoothen out my hair.
Use a
good quality hair tie to secure the ponytail in place.
Pull
out a few wisps of hair which is an optional step depending on the look you are
going for.
The
final step is to use a few bobby pins wherever required. And if you do not want
your ponytail to fall flat, use hair pins at the base of your ponytail as well!
To finish this look I use BBLUNT Spotlight Hair Polish for instant
shine and keeping my hair in place. This spray on hair serum contains
Provitamin B5, Vitamin E and Silk Proteins to nourish your hair.
Messy
Updo
Whip
out your dry shampoo if you haven’t washed your hair! Hold the can 6 inches
away from your hair, section your hair and spray the dry shampoo on roots, leave
it on for two minutes and massage till no residue is
visible.
Pull
all your hair up to the desired position of the updo. Now pull it out once
completely through the hair tie and the second time only pull your hair half
way through. I prefer to use my fingers rather than a comb for this updo to get
a messy look.
Gently
pull on your little bun till you get the volume you want and pull out a few
wisps of your hair if you want the updo to look messy.
I use U
pins at the base of the bun to secure it in place and bobby pins where ever I
feel like my hair my gives me trouble.
And
finally, I make my updo super shiny and smooth using BBLUNT Spotlight Hair Polish for instant shine.
The Two Strand Braid
My most favorite go-to hairstyle of all time will forever be the two strand braid, also known as the pull-through braid. If you are not familiar with this hairstyle, I am about to change your life my friend.
My most favorite go-to hairstyle of all time will forever be the two strand braid, also known as the pull-through braid. If you are not familiar with this hairstyle, I am about to change your life my friend.
I start by spraying BBLUNT
Back To Life Dry Shampoo on my roots. Keep that dirty little secret with dry
shampoo. *wink*
Tie the front section (Section 1) with a hair tie. I
am using a black hair tie but you can also go for invisible hair ties.
Pull the back section (Section 2) through it.
Repeat the same steps. Tie section 2 which will now be
in front.
Split Section 2 into two parts and pull Section 1 through it.
Repeat the same steps till you reach the end of your hair and tie both the sections together. Pull on your braid gently to add volume and pull out a few strands from the front to frame your face.
I am adding a final touch to the braid by using BBLUNT
Spotlight Hair Polish to smoothen out flyaway hair and keeping the rest of the
hair in place. And I am done!
Do let me know which of these hairstyle you liked the
most.
